This position is for the
Building Automation division.


Responsibilities

  • Lead liaison to customers' technical and procurement organization and responsible for delivery of excellent service to Client's Rail customers.
  • Must be disciplined in customer service and follow up to deliver timely answers to customer questions using own experience or knowledge or internal partners to obtain answers to customer questions.
  • Maintains a close interaction with various management functions.
  • Supports acquisition activities with detailed technical knowhow on complex issues.
  • Adheres to and enforces the organization's internal processes and rules as well as public standards and regulations.
  • Initiates sales quotes, sales orders & purchase orders to vendors according to customers' requirements.
  • Prepares, reviews, and books customer orders/revisions to orders.
  • Ensures timely shipment & billing of material.
  • Interfaces with factory and product/marketing groups to resolve configurations and technical changes.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly customer reports.
  • Evaluate and monitor profitability for sales orders in backlog.
  • May determine discount rates applied at the time of sale.
  • May resolve issues related to transaction quality.
  • Discusses products with customers and explains technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Develop customers and create relationships with potential buyers of the Client's parts, services, and equipment.
  • Connect with customers after a sales offer is provided to answer questions or provide advice and recommendations of appropriate services.
  • Contributes to meeting or exceeding department sales goals.

Requirements:


  • Experienced professional
  • Technical skills & knowledge with the ability to learn about Client's Traction Power Equipment
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook required.
  • Microsoft Office 365 is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced, transactionfocused environment.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and work in a stressful environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types:

Pay:
$ $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
