About us

Boy River is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2003 and operates 13 multilingual childcare centers (nursery and kindergarten).

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support our personnel management in the areas of recruitment, advertising, social media, and publications.

This role will also involve managing job applications, processing employment contracts and changes, and overseeing the hiring process. Additionally, the HR Assistant will handle employee terminations, including calculating and processing vacation pay.

They will also be responsible for communicating with external contacts and serving as the main point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries.

Other duties include preparing and processing payroll, maintaining digital personnel records, and assisting with HR projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a completed commercial education or similar and extensive practical experience in the field of human resources and social services.

Knowledge of social security and labor law is required. Proficiency in MS Office and HR software is essential. Fluency in German is required, along with excellent English and good French skills. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
