About Us:


Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the employee will be responsible for setting stones into rings that are prepared for assembly.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Inspect stone and ring assembly for proper preparation and fit.
  • Position stones and metal pieces; set, mount, and secure items in place, using setting and hand tools.
  • Tap bezel or prongs over stone to secure stone in place.
  • Use hand tools to tighten bezel or prongs to stone and close small gaps.
  • Make minor adjustments to setting when necessary.
  • Determine the need and use of appropriate adhesive where necessary.
  • Emery bezel or prong with hand tools when necessary to remove marks from setting operation.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:


  • Knowledge of tools and principles involved in the successful operation of this function

Education/Experience:


  • Previous experience in similar setting preferred
