  • Requirement analysis
  • Software design creation and maintenance of software documentation using Docs-as-Code
  • Collaboration in a team through code and design reviews
  • Supporting commissioning engineers in using the developed software components in laser machines
  • Typical programming languages:
    • Structured Text (ST), C (real-time)
    • C++, Qt, QML (HMI)
    • Target platforms:
    • VxWorks (via BuR-Automation Studio for real-time core of laser machine control)
    • Windows (HMI)

Your profile

  • Completed degree (mechanical engineering/electrical engineering/mathematics/physics/computer science or equivalent), technician or comparable qualification
  • Analytical skills and structured and method-based working methods
  • Interest in laser processes and systems, experience in mechanical engineering desirable
  • Knowledge of programming network protocols
  • High degree of independence, commitment and flexibility
  • English in spoken and written form
  • Experience with database systems (relational, time series) - optional
