Foothill Farms is looking for apprentices to train as parquet layers (m/f/d).

We are a craft business with 15 employees of all ages, mainly working in the city of Bamberg on diverse construction sites in the field of parquet and flooring.


In theory, you will learn:

  • Familiarization with flooring and work materials
  • Practice calculations
  • Wood knowledge and laying patterns
  • Quality control
  • Occupational safety

In practice, you will:

  • Cut, glue, and lay flooring
  • Fill, sand, and clean subfloors
  • Measure rooms and calculate material needs
  • Create room sketches and laying plans
  • Clean and maintain floors
  • Create insulation
  • Interact with customers
We are looking for apprentices in the field of parquet laying. In a strong team, you will learn everything about laying laminate, wooden floors, parquet, and cork floors.


Your profile:

  • Your strengths should include manual dexterity, spatial imagination, calculation skills for determining material needs, and attention to detail.
