At our Oberrot location, Binderholz Oberrot | Baruth GmbH operates modern production facilities with around 560 employees for the production of sawn timber, profiled timber, planed goods, solid wood panels, pressed wood pallets and blocks, as well as a powerful biomass heating power plant.

Your responsibilities


As an excavator and overhead grab driver (m/f/d), you will unload the round timber from the incoming trucks and feed the round timber and chipper system with the delivered round timber.

You will also transport sorted round timber to the corresponding storage piles. Other daily tasks include managing the storage and pile plan.

You will also assist with the maintenance and care of the round timber system, including minor repairs, oiling and greasing, as well as maintenance and care of the vehicle.

Your profile

A forklift license is required for this position. Previous experience operating an excavator or overhead grab is an advantage. You should have a self-sufficient and structured way of working for this task. Additionally, you should enjoy working in a team.
