The city administration of Bingen is looking for a full-time director (m/f/d) for the "Wuselkiste" daycare center in Bingen-Büdesheim, starting on March 1, 2024.


The municipal educational and care facility "Wuselkiste" is a pedagogical institution for children aged six months to six years and consists of a nursery and three kindergarten groups.

A total of 84 children are cared for. The facility is led by a "management team".

The Wuselkiste daycare center implements its concept through functional rooms. We are committed to providing holistic and resource-oriented support for children.

We practice needs-based work in all groups, allowing our children to live their individuality and grow according to their own learning and developmental potential.

With active participation, we, as a team, determine the daily pedagogical routine.


By the end of 2025, the daycare center will be expanded into a seven-group inclusive facility in a new building.

This will be an integral part of your work.


We are looking for applicants who:
- have experience with the start-up of new facilities.
- are open to the topic of inclusion.
- continuously develop the conceptual orientation of the facility and ideas with children, parents, and employees.
- approach children, parents, and others with a positive and appreciative attitude and treat them as equals.
- support interdisciplinary cooperation with other institutions.
- take on administrative and digital tasks
