We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a Track Builder / Civil Engineering Specialist (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our locations in Aachen, Bonn, Brühl, Euskirchen, Cologne, Leverkusen, or Troisdorf. The vocational school is located in Essen and the training workshop is in Duisburg.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:
  • You will work with your team on construction sites, maintaining our railway tracks
  • Together, you will lay tracks and switches, inspect our rails for any issues, and replace damaged parts
  • You will also renew the stones and gravel layers under the tracks, using modern machinery to make the job easier
  • Ensuring precise measurements to prevent any shaking during train rides will be a key part of your work
  • After your apprenticeship, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth transportation of passengers to their destinations every day
