The State of New Hampshire, Department of State Corporations Division has a full time vacancy for a Records Control Clerk.


SCOPE OF WORK:

To perform a variety of duties and support activities in conjunction with the filing of documents with the Secretary of State.


ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Interview the public consumer to obtain needed information regarding corporate filings.
  • Inform applicants and callers about state requirements regarding filings.
  • Audit and verify completion of documents for accuracy and verify that fees comply with statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and mail correspondence regarding routine corporate matters.
  • Knowledgeable of types of filings and corresponding laws relative to these filings.
  • Performs a variety of related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Each year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience:
Two years of clerical experience involving typing, preferably in the area of records management.
