SWM operates approximately 6000 network transformer stations (NTS) in its supply area.

Due to the assessment of the structural and technical condition, these are renewed, replaced or decommissioned as part of a program for the rehabilitation of network transformer stations.

These measures are carried out both internally and with external service providers.

Approximately 70 NTS are rehabilitated annually as part of a tightly scheduled timetable and approximately 40 NTS are newly constructed.

The Planning Medium Voltage Systems department is responsible within the SWM Group for planning and construction supervision of medium voltage systems, in particular rehabilitation and new construction of network transformer stations, and project management.

We work on the latest topics and often in close collaboration with customers and internal experts.
