    - Full-time Position, 40 hours per week

    Job Description:
    Join our team as an EP Lab Tech II/Radiologic Technologist. In this role, you'll play a vital part in performing interventional radiography procedures. Your responsibilities will include interacting with patients, assisting in procedures, and ensuring patient safety at all times. Here's what you'll be doing:

    • Determining radiographic exposure factors
    • Assisting licensed independent practitioners with specialized procedures
    • Monitoring patients during procedures
    • Ensuring patient safety throughout all radiographic processes
    • Providing patient education on imaging procedures
    • Participating in quality assurance activities

    Requirements:
    - 1 year of previous IR Technologist work experience required
    - Graduation from a JRC Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology
    - Active certification by ARRT and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification


    Additional Responsibilities:
    - Independent completion of imaging exams based on physician's orders and safety standards
    - Representing VCU Health System's goals, values, and vision
    - Adhering to regulatory standards and department policies

    Physical Requirements:
    - Lifting 20-50 lbs
    - Prolonged standing, sitting, walking, and computer interaction
    - Strong mental and sensory skills including reasoning and problem-solving
