SUMMARY
Under general supervision, the Customer Service Data Entry Clerk enters and processes orders using various platforms and systems. This role processes price quotations for customers and sends order acknowledgements to customers when the process is complete.

JOB DUTIES

  • Enter data from source documents into a computer system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review online platform orders to resolve holds
  • Audit own work or work of others to ensure conformance with established procedures verifying data completeness and accuracy
  • Process customer quotations using established methods and practices for nonconforming orders.
  • Maintain customer master data records including shipto locations, customer routing guides, and customer crossreference
  • Support customer service team on various projects as needed
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years' experience in a fastpaced office or sales environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailoriented with customer service and followup skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and other appropriate software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three (3) years' experience in a fastpaced office or sales environment
  • SAP, Salesforce & Esker Experience

  • Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
  • Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager.
  • Must be flexible regarding working hours and overtime. Must be able to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice.
  • Must be able to operate in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute nonstandard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • This position requires repetitive hand/wrist activities.
The approximate base compensation range is shown below. The actual offer may vary based on skills, experience and location.
