To ensure our long-term success, we are expanding our finance team and searching for a driven
Senior Accountant to join our mission here at Phiture in Odin, KS.


WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Managing all operational accounting processes, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Employee Expense Reports
  • Onboarding new clients, deals, and vendors onto financial platforms such as Zoho Books, Harvest, Spendesk, and other internal tools/trackers
  • Conducting monthend closings and preparing monthly financial statements and other reports
  • Assisting with the transition of our accounting inhouse (currently working with an external Tax Advisor)
  • Ensuring compliance with company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations
  • Preparing payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
  • Assisting with the implementation of NetSuite (currently using DATEV)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Upper intermediate or higher level of German proficiency
  • Experience with DATEV and ideally NetSuite
  • Knowledge of the German commercial code
  • Strong analytical
