The company Buck & Son is a modern family-owned business based in Hamburg with around 30 employees, combining traditional craftsmanship and trade of plastic semi-finished products and pipeline components under one roof.

In addition to distribution, our range of services also includes custom manufacturing of individual parts, container construction, and maintenance and repair of all types of systems.


We are continuing our growth trajectory and are currently seeking a part-time Order Processing Clerk (m/f/d) to join our forward-thinking company as soon as possible.


As an important internal interface between the departments of warehouse, manufacturing, and sales, you will need strong organizational skills and a good understanding of computer systems for this position.


Responsibilities:

  • Processing and handling incoming orders
  • Taking responsibility for timely shipping
  • Maintaining and monitoring existing orders
  • Order processing and process support
  • Creating new articles, assigning product categories, and maintaining data
  • Providing materials for internal and external manufacturing orders
  • Handling complaints
  • Providing customer support for orderrelated inquiries, both over the phone and in person

Qualifications:

  • Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent MS Office skills and ideally knowledge of Sage
  • Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor
  • Structured and independent work style
  • High level of motivation
