Description
We're hiring per-diem nurses to join our skilled rehab & nursing home facility located in Forest Hills, Queens NY.


As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and administering nursing care to ill, disabled, convalescent, or injured patients.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Conduct physical exams to assess patient health needs and problems
  • Perform treatments, start IV's, administer medication & interpret tests
  • Review medical records and implement nursing care plans
  • Counsel patients/family on disease prevention and health maintenance
  • Evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions and needs
  • Supervise the work of CNA's, nurse aides & assistants
  • Educate patients about their medical conditions and treatment plans
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic working environment
  • Prepare rooms, medical equipment and decontaminate instruments
  • Provide emotional and psychological support

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
$ $60.00 per hour
