We are currently looking for a Head Accountant (m/f/d) for our location in 22525 Hamburg to start as soon as possible on a permanent full-time basis.


Responsibilities:

  • Booking, reconciliation and management of general ledger accounts and fixed assets
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Processing, coding and booking of ongoing accounting transactions
  • Preparation of reporting and VAT returns
  • Handling inquiries from departments
  • Responsibility as a contact person for digital invoice workflow
  • Taking on project tasks

Qualifications:

  • Completed commercial training, ideally as a tax clerk (m/f/d) or certified accountant (m/f/d)
  • Relevant professional experience in finance and accounting
  • Proficient in using computer applications such as MS Office
  • Strong numerical understanding and analytical thinking
  • Independent, responsible work ethic and reliability
