The department of Children, Youth & Family in Allenspark, CO is currently seeking a Diplom-Psychologist for a parental leave replacement position with a workload of 5-15 hours per week.

In our early intervention program, we work with parents and support children who were born prematurely, develop slower or differently than their peers, are unusually calm or restless, lack confidence or give up quickly, are insecure in their movements, have difficulty speaking clearly, or were born with a disability.

We provide support at our main office on Brüderweg and at our branch office in the Hörde district administration office.

Additionally, we offer mobile support in the home environment or in daycare facilities as needed.

Your responsibilities

Conducting and evaluating diagnostic tests as part of initial, ongoing, and final assessments
Documentation
Collaboration in an interdisciplinary team of special education teachers, motor pedagogues, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, pediatricians, psychologists, and administrative staff

Your profile

Diploma in Psychology or Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
Several years of professional experience in early intervention
Indepth knowledge of diagnostic testing procedures for initial, ongoing, and final assessments
Knowledge of parent support and counseling
Flexibility and a high level of physical resilience
Empathetic and resourceoriented attitude
Excellent computer skills, particularly with Windows and MS Office, and experience with databases
