HERE YOU WILL WORK:


Our client, a significant and internationally active seaport and logistics company based in Bremen, is looking for a payroll accountant for direct placement.


THESE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • You carry out proper payroll and salary calculations, taking into account current legal regulations
  • You also handle reporting and certification processes and correspond with authorities and health insurance companies
  • As a point of contact for employees, you provide information regarding salary calculations and social benefits, tax and insurance deductions
  • You review and update employee master data and personnel files and process all relevant data for payroll calculations
  • Finally, you also handle tasks such as wage garnishments, create personnel statistics, and participate in monthly and annual closing activities

HERE'S WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • You have completed a degree in business administration with a focus on finance or a comparable education
  • You have some professional experience in payroll accounting or have completed further training as a payroll accountant
  • You are proficient in using common MS Office programs and ideally have knowledge of
