Operational Purchaser (m/f/d) for our renowned client in Bremen, to be directly placed in Reedsport, OR.


Your responsibilities:


  • Conduct and process all ordering processes for assigned product groups, taking into account defined value limits and in coordination with strategic/tactical purchasers
  • Manage operational purchasing and act as the interface between suppliers, demand managers, and internal stakeholders (e.g. accounting) during ongoing procurement processes
  • Quality check contracts in terms of operational purchasing aspects and create contracts/orders according to given standards
  • Take on special tasks related to process topics such as logistics, master data management/interface support SRM/eProcurement, process management, controlling, suppliers, and quality management in coordination with superiors
  • Provide administrative and organizational support to strategic/tactical purchasers during projects/annual contract negotiations

Your profile:


  • Completed commercial or technical apprenticeship combined with successful further qualification as a specialist in purchasing and logistics or a certified purchasing expert (BME)
  • Several years of practical experience in technical purchasing
  • Strong ability to handle complex situations in a structured manner
  • Excellent SAP and MS Office skills
