Seeking a
_Laboratory Assistant _to carry out experiments in a hematologic malignancy's oncology lab. Work will be executed under close supervision of a faculty investigator, senior technician, or postdoctoral fellow. Will be required to follow routine protocols and standard procedures. Must be a team player and exhibit great attention to detail.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Participates in lab meetings and journal clubs.
Records data.
Maintains and makes minor adjustments to equipment.
Prepares solutions, reagents, and stains following standard laboratory formulas and procedures.
Prepares, cleans, sterilizes, and maintains laboratory equipment, glassware, and instruments used in research experiments.
Performs experiments under direct supervision of a senior lab member and in doing so, utilizes requisite lab equipment and instruments.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Some undergraduate coursework.
