    W2 Role
    Onsite role and can sit in any of these locations: Jacksonville, Chicago, Atlanta, Jersey City, or Richmond.


    The position supports a large scale CICS/TS environment running in a zOS parallel SYSPLEX environment with complex multi-tiered applications making heavy use of MRO, IMS, VSAM files and DB2.

    The position is responsible for the day to support of the brokerage CICS environments, technical guidance and support to the application development community, creation of documentation and operational procedures as needed, problem debugging and root cause analysis, interaction with software vendors.

    The group this position is part of will require some off-hours and weekend work as well as rotation in 24 x 7 ONCALL support.

    The right candidate be experienced in CICS Resource Definition processing, CICS transaction dump analysis, CICS real-time monitoring, performance reporting and tuning.


    Technical background in the z/OS mainframe arena plus knowledge of CICS/TS operations are necessary for the position. The candidate must be proficient in the use of JCL and working with various vendor utility programs. They must possess good analytical skills, debugging skills, knowledge of COBOL and CICS Command Level language programming.

    Good communication skills both written and oral are required as the individual must interface with application developers, support teams, software vendors and management staff.
