Hi, my name is Manuel and I work as a Software Engineer in the data department at Seibert Media.

This department is divided into two teams:

Business Intelligence (BI), which is responsible for data analysis, and the Brogrammers, who mainly focus on data procurement and synchronization.

Our team consists of myself, two other developers, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner. We develop our services in Golang, which communicate with each other through Kafka and are deployed in Kubernetes.

In our enabler role, we support other teams in the company on a daily basis, so our clients are exclusively our colleagues.

Attention to detail is important in our work, so that our stakeholders can rely on the data and services we provide.

To start with us, your programming skills (ideally in Golang), knowledge and experience in agile software development, and familiarity with APIs and integrations will be helpful.

We use typical development tools such as Git, Shell, and CI/CD.

If you have some experience with cloud computing in GCP and a basic understanding of streaming technologies, that would also be beneficial.
