    Physician Relations Coordinator Full-Time - Day

    Responsible for strengthening existing relationships with physicians and developing new referral relationships.

    This position will also be responsible for identifying other business opportunities to assist in the growth and overall volume for our hospital and our clinics.

    # Essential Functions (list in order of importance including measures) Works with assigned physicians and the physician#s office staff in trouble shooting problems and concerns that may be impeding their ability to treat patients.

    ## Position will travel to physician locations as assigned. Communicates key product lines to promote referrals to SAH clinics and ancillary locations. Interacts with key staff to promote and maintain key departmental selling points. Track and monitor office activities from perspective physician offices; successfully close new business in accordance with predetermined targets.

    Assumes responsibility for knowing and maintaining established hospital and departmental objectives, policies/procedures including mission, vision and values as well as patient satisfaction levels and mechanisms to achieve the goals.

    # Participates in performance activities including problem identification, data collection, solution selection, implementation and evaluation. Also assists in the care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies as appropriate. # Participates in staff meetings and or committees as required. # Participates in the implementation of physician activities and events, as determined.

    Bachelor#s degree preferred but not required in healthcare field #

    Experience:
    Must have 3(+) year of experience working with Physicians Maintains strong customer service skills Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Data Base Management Possession of automobile with valid drivers license and auto insurance for business use is *Required* #
