"Deutsche Bahn is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a train driver (railway operations specialist with a focus on train driving and transportation) (m/f/d) at DB Regio AG in Fulda, starting on September 1st, 2024. The vocational school will take place in block form at the Heinrich-Kleyer-Schule in Frankfurt (Main).
What to expect during your apprenticeship:
  • You will be working in regional transportation, operating our regional trains
  • Your tasks will include shunting, preparing, and driving trains in regular operations and in case of deviations from regular operations
  • You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving train malfunctions
  • You will become familiar with the rules of safe and smooth railway operations
  • You will ensure that our trains are safely, punctually, and reliably ready for our customers at the station
Your profile:
  • You have (or will soon have) successfully completed school and are at least 17 years old at the start of the apprenticeship
