The district of Donau-Ries is seeking a County Building Master (m/f/d) for the lower building supervision authority and the lower monument protection authority, starting on April 1st, 2024, in full-time.


Responsibilities:

  • Technical management of the lower building supervision and monument protection authority
  • Consultation of builders, planners, and municipalities in technical, urban planning, and monumentrelated matters
  • Participation in procedures for building planning and supralocal planning as well as urban development funding
  • Technical review of building applications and applications according to the Monument Protection Act

Qualifications:

  • Civil servant of the 4th qualification level in the specialist career of natural sciences and technology (special focus on technical and environmental administrative service) with special knowledge in civil engineering or urban planning/architecture, or civil servant of the 3rd qualification level in the specialist career of natural sciences and technology (special focus on technical and environmental administrative service) with several years of professional experience in the field of leading technical staff of lower building supervision authorities and proven success in this field, or alternatively comparable qualifications as an employee under collective bargaining agreement
  • Leadership skills and experience
  • Citizenoriented, independent, cooperative, and goaloriented approach
  • Good oral and written expression
  • Negotiation skills, decisiveness, and persuasiveness
  • Resilience, flexibility, and teamwork
  • Class B driver's license
