The Südharz Klinikum Nordhausen gGmbH is a hospital providing regional care with around 800 beds and 26 specialized departments, as well as modern equipped functional areas and institutes.

We are an academic teaching hospital of the Jena University Hospital.

We are currently seeking Sitzwachen (on-call staff) (m/f/d) to supervise our patients at the Südharz Klinikum in Nordhausen.

Your responsibilities:

Supervising restless, disoriented, or restrained patients
Maintaining visual contact with the patient and engaging in calming conversations
Informing nursing staff of any abnormalities or issues

Your profile:

Empathy and understanding for sick individuals
Mental resilience
Time flexibility to provide Sitzwache services as needed
Previous experience in the nursing field is advantageous but not required

We can offer the following conditions:

Employment is based on a short-term contract according to § 8 para. 1 no. 2 SGB IV (social security exempt)
Assignments are limited to a maximum of 70 days or 3 months per year
In case of need, you will be asked if you are available for work at short notice; however, there is no obligation for you to accept the assignment
Assignments will be in both day and night shifts
