We specialize in warehousing, storage, after-sales service, reverse logistics, and extensive quality testing, with a strong focus on the automotive and consumer electronics industries.


Position Overview:


As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and performance of Electric Vehicle (EV) batteries.

This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a laptop for testing purposes.

Your main responsibilities will include performing visual inspections, conducting air tightness tests using specialized software, and replacing bolts and connectors as needed.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform visual inspections on EV batteries to identify any defects or issues.
  • Conduct air tightness tests by connecting a laptop to the batteries and running a designated software program.
  • Replace bolts and connectors on the packaging/container of EV batteries as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
  • Ensure all testing procedures are followed according to company standards and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address any quality concerns or issues.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a laptop and use software programs for testing purposes.
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Reliable transportation to the Rivian Plant in Normal, IL.

Work Environment:


  • This position is based at the Rivian Plant in Normal, IL.
  • The role involves working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, heat, and other industrial conditions.
  • The position may require standing for extended periods and performing tasks that involve repetitive motion.
