Your apprenticeship as a merchant for wholesale and foreign trade management (m/f/d)

Start your apprenticeship at ITG Mitteldeutschland KG as a merchant for wholesale and foreign trade management (m/f/d). Merchants for wholesale and foreign trade management are responsible for purchasing goods from manufacturers and selling them to customers.

During your apprenticeship, you will learn...
  • To advise customers and sell them the right products - both over the phone and "face to face"
  • How to conduct purchasing and sales negotiations
  • To calculate prices that are attractive for both parties
  • To become familiar with our huge range of products and gain insight into the logistical processes before and after an order
And ideally, you already bring with you:
  • Interest in sales and our industry
  • Reliability with deadlines and commitments
  • At least a good secondary school leaving certificate or (vocational) diploma
You can also look forward to:
  • Looking beyond the horizon: Through project work and factory visits, you will deepen your knowledge and get to know the other apprentices even better
  • Fair salary: 935 € in the first year, 975 € in the second year, 1015 € in the third year
