HERE YOU WILL WORK:


For our client, a significant and internationally active seaport and logistics company based in Bremen, we are looking for an accountant in the area of accounts receivable management in direct placement.


THESE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • In your position, you will process payments on time, record and manage incoming and outgoing invoices, and clarify open items with internal and external contacts
  • You also ensure a continuous dunning process and carry out collection runs, as well as clarify debit notifications and assess the creditworthiness of customers
  • In addition, you coordinate with other departments on any paymentrelated questions in order to keep the claims against customers to a minimum
  • You perform bank transactions and monitor the VAT postings of outgoing invoices, and also create dunning statistics and adhoc evaluations
  • Finally, if necessary, you can support the team in preparing monthly and annual financial statements and perform administrative tasks, such as bank filing
