The Caritas Association Region Mönchengladbach e. V.

is a church welfare organization with approximately 830 full-time and 300 volunteer employees dedicated to a variety of social tasks in the city of Mönchengladbach and its surrounding area.

The area of aging and care consists of five nursing homes with integrated short-term care places, a standalone short-term care facility, four day care centers, two assisted living communities, and a Caritas nursing service with multiple care teams.

Our facilities are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

We are currently seeking Social Workers or Nursing Professionals (m/f/d) for our Caritas Centers - Nursing Homes in Mönchengladbach, starting as soon as possible.

The positions are part-time (19.5 hours/week) to full-time (39.0 hours/week).

Job Description:

Development of concepts for the social work department
Planning and implementation of events
Participation in neighborhood work
Requirements:
Completed degree in Social Work or Bachelor of Social Work, or a completed three-year training in elderly/health care
Experience in nursing homes
Willingness to work on weekends and holidays
Teamoriented work style
Enjoyment of working with elderly people
Knowledge of computerbased documentation
Identification with the goals and mission of the Caritas Association
