Apprenticeship Pipeline Builder (m/f/d)

You have probably observed construction sites where roads are being dug up and pipes are being laid. What actually happens there? The answer is: pipeline builders are at work. They lay and maintain pipes for things like our gas lines, so we can have warmth at home.

You enjoy working outdoors, have a lot of fun creating things in a team, and also have manual dexterity? Then the profession of pipeline builder (m/f/d) is just right for you.

What you will learn with us:

  • During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to properly and safely excavate trenches, lay pipe systems, and restore surfaces. You will also learn various connection techniques, such as different welding methods.
  • During your apprenticeship, you will rotate through various technical departments at Gasnetz Hamburg and experience firsthand what it's like to work on a construction site.
  • You will attend various courses - both in our own training workshop and at the Hamburg Construction Training Center.
  • The theoretical content will be taught to you in vocational school. The apprenticeship for pipeline builder (m/f/d) lasts 3 years.
