Financial Accountant - Makaha, HI, United States - Phoenix Industries
Description
We are looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time (minimum 80%) for an IT consulting company in the Makaha, HI area.
Your responsibilities will include:
- You will be responsible for the complete and timely monthly closing (including BWA, VAT, ZM)
- You will manage the daytoday operations in finance and accounting, as well as the collection process
- You will handle general ledger activities and fixed asset accounting
- You will review and approve cost accounting, including contract management
- You will prepare the annual financial statements according to HGB and create a rolling gross profit forecast
- You will monitor cash flow and ensure liquidity, providing financial advice to the management, such as project financing
- You will be the main contact (m/f/d) for auditors, tax advisors, authorities, insurance companies, and banks
- You are interested in taking on more responsibilities? We can expand your tasks to include payroll accounting.
Your qualifications:
- You have a passion for numbers and have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a degree in finance/accounting
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting
- You ideally have experience with D365 and Sage
- You have knowledge of payroll processing
- You work independently and in a structured manner
- You enjoy continuous learning and working with modern technologies.
