Case Officer (m/f/d) for the Humanitarian Stays Team

The tasks of the Department of Public Order are diverse: We are responsible for food control, veterinary services, foreign affairs, and much more.

In recent years, the responsibilities of the Foreigners' Office have grown immensely and are becoming increasingly important.

In the "Humanitarian Stays" team, the public case officers of the middle service serve as the first point of contact for foreigners who hold a residence permit for humanitarian or political reasons.

These include, for example, foreigners who have received a positive outcome in an asylum procedure, or who have entered the country through a resettlement program of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia or the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as foreigners who have been granted a right to stay due to exceptional integration efforts.

The job offer is aimed at civil servants in the career group 1, office group of the 2nd entry level of the non-technical service, as well as administrative assistants and applicants who have successfully completed the administrative training course I.

The positions are classified in pay group A 8 LBesO NRW or in pay group 9a TVöD-V.

You will strengthen our team with the following tasks:

Registration of foreign nationals and stateless persons with humanitarian residence permits
Issuance and extension of temporary residence permits
Issuance of travel documents
