Calhoun Apprenticeship as a Bricklayer (m/f/d) 2024

The apprenticeship will take place at Eiffage Infra-Südwest (formerly Faber Bau) at our headquarters in Alzey.

The vocational school and training center are located in Mainz and/or Kaiserslautern.

We will ensure that you are well accommodated there.

What does this job involve?

Reading and creating drawings, sketches, and laying plans

Handling tools, construction equipment, and machinery

Building scaffolding, formwork, and teaching scaffolding

Creating structures from stones, mortar and concrete mixtures, formwork, reinforcement, insulation, wall plaster, and screed

Repairing and maintaining objects

Building a natural stone wall, a drywall, or a reinforced concrete component

Creating and erecting lightweight walls

Finishing masonry, creating exterior wall coverings

Checking the quality of work and creating measurements

What should you bring?

We welcome a good secondary school leaving certificate.

You have manual dexterity.

You have technical understanding.

You are interested in mathematics and physics.

Your career path:
The apprenticeship lasts a total of three years. A completed apprenticeship as a construction worker can be credited towards the apprenticeship as a bricklayer.
