As a Picker and Packer at Redbird, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders.


Responsibilities:


Picker Responsibilities:


  • Retrieve items from shelves or storage areas based on customer orders
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control by verifying product codes, quantities, and specifications
  • Organize picked items for packing and shipping, following established procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking area
  • Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to the supervisor

Packer Responsibilities:


  • Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping, using appropriate packaging materials
  • Label packages accurately with shipping information and tracking numbers
  • Ensure all packed orders meet quality standards and customer specifications
  • Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with shipping carriers as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventory
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse equipment and procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
