- Ensures that the organization complies with data protection laws and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.
- Identifies potential privacy risks associated with data processing activities and assesses their impact.
- Integrates privacy considerations into the design of systems, applications, and processes from the outset.
- Implements encryption techniques to protect data both in transit and at rest.
- Sets up and manages access controls to restrict unauthorized access to sensitive data.
- Applies techniques to de-identify personal data to minimize privacy risks.
- Establishes policies and procedures for the secure handling, storage, and disposal of data throughout its lifecycle.
- Develops and implements procedures to respond to data breaches or incidents involving the unauthorized disclosure of personal data.
- Provides training and raises awareness among employees about data privacy best practices and policies.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, compliance, and security to address privacy concerns and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and additional 365 tools.
- IT skills in Cybersecurity Analysis is a plus.
- No required IT Certifications, but preferred.

Job Summary:
