More than just a laboratory. LIMETEC Biotechnologies GmbH is a subsidiary of Limbach Gruppe SE. We are a communication technology company within the laboratory and medical industry, located in Hennigsdorf, north of Berlin. We plan, develop, and implement customized and innovative IT and software solutions for the healthcare sector. We are currently seeking a full-time Python Software Developer (m/f/d) for our location in Hennigsdorf.


Your responsibilities:

You will be part of a project team developing a new system and integrating it into our system landscape - an essential component in supporting medical personnel with digital laboratory test orders.


Your main tasks will include:
Developing and enhancing our applications with modern technologies to expand our product portfolio Assisting in building partnerships with other software providers for technical agreements and joint interfaces and their implementation Contributing to the design of individual functions of our software products Implementing technical solutions according to agile software design principles Documenting in ticket systems and knowledge databases Participating in the further development of the system architecture Your profile: You have a successfully completed degree in computer science or a related field, or alternatively, a completed vocational training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) in application development You have at least three years of experience in object-oriented development with Python for Linux-based systems and have in-depth knowledge of Python and the Python standard library You have a strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, and API design; knowledge of LDT, GDT, HL
