Responsibilities

  • Administration of the Bechtle Corporate Network in the areas of switching, routing, and firewalling
  • Collaboration in the development of the network infrastructure and testing and implementation of new technologies
  • Independent planning and execution of changes
  • Handling of disruptions
  • Management and collaboration with external service providers
  • Participation in weekly on-call rotations

Qualifications

  • Completed technical degree or equivalent vocational training
  • Several years of professional experience in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF)
  • Experience in WAN, LAN, and WLAN
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 3K and 9K, as well as ISR and ASA
  • Comprehensive understanding of various IT-related fields
  • Strong communication, customer orientation, and problem-solving skills
