Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant (Nursing) will work alongside healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings.

They will assist in patient examinations, administer medications, maintain patient records, and perform other clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the medical facility.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
  • Record patient information and vital signs accurately.
  • Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient appointments.
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as collecting blood samples and dressing wounds.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage electronic health records.
  • Provide patient education and support on various health topics.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized healthcare environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
