Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients restore and improve their physical capabilities through a variety of exercises, manual therapy, and other techniques.
You will work closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans and monitor their progress to ensure they are on track to reach their physical therapy goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate and assess the condition and physical capabilities of patients
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on the patient's needs and goals
- Conduct therapy sessions using a variety of techniques, exercises, and equipment
- Monitor and track patient progress throughout their treatment
- Educate patients on proper techniques and exercises to continue therapy at home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Stay up to date on the latest research and techniques in physical therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Ability to assess and develop personalized treatment plans
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
