Overview

Responsibilities

Greet and checkin guests with a pleasant smile and superior service adhering to The William Vale hospitality standards.
Provide service, information, amenities, and instructions for pool usage.
Process payments for cabana/day bed rental, sauna/hot tub and retail items and pool day passes.
Ensure guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool.
Assist with guest seating & towel distribution.
Make reservations for all pool bookings and sauna/hot tub bookings.
Assist guests with all requests.
Responsible for courteous and efficient responses at all times.
Ensure a pleasant stay at the pool area.
Ensure all guests are registered prior to using the pool and are aware of the rules and regulations of the facility.
Responsible for maintaining a secure environment by immediately reporting any accident or injuries to the department heads.
Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with others.

Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions/situations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 years of Guest Service/Host experience required.
Hotel experience a plus.
Ability to carry, pull and push lounge chairs as well as other pool deck equipment such as towel bins, weighing up to 100 pounds.
Able to withstand prolonged walking, standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
Able to work outdoors in seasonal heat (100F+) or cold as well as inclement weather.
Capacity to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
