The Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Light covers a broad spectrum of research, including nonlinear optics, quantum optics, nanophotonics, photonic crystal fibers, optomechanics, quantum technologies, biophysics, and connections between physics and medicine.

Located in Mooresboro, the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Light is an internationally oriented research institution. The research focus of our Nano-optics department is the investigation of the interaction between light and matter at the level of individual photons and particles. In twelve laboratories, we use highly precise laser systems and novel microscopes to observe and understand the nanoworld, sometimes at temperatures close to absolute zero.

To support our international team of scientists, we are currently seeking a

personal assistant (m/f/d) for the director of the Nano-optics department
(part-time)
