Overview

Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.

Must work both days, full shift to be eligible for bonus pay. Performs various supervisory duties such as production reports, time and attendance, and counseling. Must be self-motivated and able multitask. This position is expected to interact effectively and communicate effectively with all levels of plant personnel. Weekend shift employees are considered part time associates.

We have a night shift position open.

Night schedule is Friday (11pm - 11am) and Saturday (11pm - 11am)

Weekend shift is considered part time and not eligible for health benefits, overtime, holiday or bereavement pay, or vacation

Responsibilities

Helps manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results
Enforces company policies and guidelines
Work with new employees
Assists workers by offering personal growth opportunities
Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques
Ensures that production plans are completed by a certain time
Contacts appropriate sources for repair issues
Counsels employees on how to achieve an optimal output or workflow
Resolves issues and disputes between manufacturing employees
Creates and maintains professional schedules
Communicates with and assists other manufacturing departments as needed
Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers
Compiles and analyzes production records

Qualifications

Previous supervisory experience
Excellent coaching and communication skills
Ability to track expenses and understand budget requirements
Broad knowledge of production planning processes
Understanding of production requirements and ensure production is meet those requirements
Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting
