Job Duties


Pursuant to Sections and of the Code of Virginia, this position has been designated to file an annual Statement of Economic Interests form.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Considerable knowledge as an educator and school or division leader.
  • Considerable knowledge of resource allocations, budgets, and project management.
  • Considerable knowledge of local, state and federal government policies and procedures.
  • Considerable knowledge of instructional best practices, service delivery models and research methods.
  • Considerable knowledge of federallyfunded education programs.
  • Demonstrated skills in effective written and oral communication.
  • Demonstrated skills and abilities to set schedules and timelines for subordinate staff of professionals.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and their associated budgets at the same time.

Additional Considerations
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an advanced degree in Education Administration or relevant discipline.
