Munich, we are currently looking for a

Deputy Technical Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

You ensure the technically correct, legally compliant and customerfriendly provision of automotive testing services
You assume the tasks of a deputy technical manager of an officially recognized monitoring organization according to Annex VIIIb Sec. 5 StVZO
You take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of the technical advisors and testing equipment officers
You provide technical guidance to the testing engineers and ensure their training and further education
You have technical supervision over the use of suitable equipment, software, testing equipment and other tools for the proper execution of testing services
Monitoring the quality management system is within your area of responsibility and you initiate appropriate measures in case of deviations
You engage in constructive exchange with authorities and represent the technical manager of the monitoring organization in committees such as the Experience Exchange Working Group (AKE)

Qualifications:

Successfully completed training as a testing engineer according to VIIIb StVZO
Extensive knowledge of the organizational processes of a vehicle testing monitoring organization
Knowledge of the respective services and areas of responsibility of vehicle testing
Experience in quality management
Leadership experience or experience in managing project teams
Experience as an auditor*in is an advantage
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Good knowledge of English
Willingness to travel within Germany and flexibility
