The Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry in the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy at WWU is seeking a

Research Associate

(E 13 TV-L)
to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time position (100%) with a fixed term until October 31, 2024, subject to project approval.

Your responsibilities:

Project work in a funded thirdparty project, including preparation of project meetings and reports
Synthesis and characterization of lithiumion conductors and solidstate batteries
Materials will be prepared using solidstate synthesis and characterized using Xray and impedance spectroscopy.
Construction and evaluation of solidstate battery cells and evaluation using impedance spectroscopy
Detailed documentation of measurement results, presentation in scientific talks, and publication in scientific journals.

Our expectations:

A university degree in chemistry or materials science (diploma and/or master's) as well as a PhD are required.
Experimental experience in the preparation and characterization of solidstate materials is necessary.
