We are looking for a shift manager (m/f/d) for production in the food industry for direct placement in the Magdeburg area, Saxony-Anhalt.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating a team during shifts
  • Ensuring smooth production processes
  • Monitoring quality standards and ensuring workplace safety
  • Creating shift schedules and planning the deployment of production staff, apprentices, and temporary workers in the work area
  • Planning availability of equipment, raw materials, packaging materials, auxiliary, labor, and cleaning supplies

Requirements:

  • Completed training as a technician or master's degree in food production or several years of professional experience in a similar position in the food industry
  • Experience in personnel management is desirable
  • Knowledge of production planning and control is an advantage
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ideally with SAP knowledge, and good English skills in speaking and writing
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Confident communication, motivated attitude, and assertiveness
