In the Department of Health, in the 53/7 Coordination Office, a position as
Coordinator for Health Promotion and Prevention (m/f/d) is available immediately and is limited until December 31, 2026.

The Coordination Office of the Health Department carries out tasks according to the Law on Public Health Services of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (ÖGDG NRW).

This includes managing the Dortmund Health Conference, tasks in the field of psychiatry and addiction coordination, health promotion and prevention, as well as tasks in the field of health education and information.

The job offer is aimed at applicants with a completed university degree (Master or Diploma) in the fields of Health Sciences, Public Health, Health Promotion and Prevention, or a comparable degree program (e.g.

Social Sciences) with a focus on health promotion and prevention.

A minimum of one year of professional experience in implementing projects in the field of health promotion and prevention with children is mandatory.

The position is classified in pay group 13 TVöD.

You will strengthen our team with these tasks:

Development, implementation, and evaluation of concepts and measures for health promotion and prevention in primary schools in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders around the primary schools you are responsible for. The goal is to improve health knowledge and behavior among both children and parents, with a focus on families with low socioeconomic status. You will work closely with the health promoters of the Coordination Office.
