For the success of a degree program, financing is crucial.

The Department of Student Financing - with around 100 employees at two locations - manages the BAföG domestic funding for all students at Hamburg's universities, as well as the BAföG foreign funding for all students and pupils who complete part of their education in the USA.

We pay out around 85 million euros in funding annually.
