Okta's Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring Okta's Field Organization has the right insight, tools, and processes it needs to run effectively and efficiently.

Reporting directly to the VP of Field Strategy & Operations, this specific role will work closely across Field leadership and Field Strategy & Operations team to define the field cadences and the respective tooling and data that we use to run the business.

  • HighSpot content and pages
  • Pipeline Generation page (Partner with Deepti's team)
  • Pipeline Velocity
  • Forecasting (incl. cadence, script, tooling)
  • QBR (global templates, planning on a quarterly basis)
  • Global QBR Deck & Planning
  • Backup on Global Forecasting

Job Duties & Responsibilities


The Manager of WW Field Operations will work in tight collaboration with the Field Strategy & Operations team members to define and operationalize global operating cadences that support the operating rhythm for the field.

This role has high visibility and works cross-functionally throughout the company.


The impact you will have:

  • Set the weekly and quarterly Global Sales Cadence Calendar. Ensure it is communicated and work with Field teams to clarify questions and drive execution to the defined cadences.
  • Own the Sales Handbook, which provides clarity to our annual segmentation strategy for the field and helps govern teaming and opportunity splits to maximize revenue potential on opportunities.
  • Own Forecasting Handbook to outline forecast best practices and expectations.
  • Define an update process for the Sales and Forecasting handbooks, collect and incorporate feedback, manage updating the policies in our content repository, and ensure smooth communication to the field.
  • Build and own the centralized content pages on HighSpot to ensure clarity and enablement for operational execution. This includes content related to Pipeline Generation, Pipeline Velocity, Forecasting, and QBRs such as best practices, "howto" guides, and templates.
  • Represent the needs of the business to the systems teams as it relates to enhancements and tooling to support Forecasting.
  • Create and maintain a standardized global template for Sales QBRs.
  • Assist with the Global Forecast calls, data analysis, and written summaries.
  • Assist with integration of any acquisitions from a Field Strategy & Operations perspective

Your qualifications and experience:


  • A minimum of 4+ years work experience in Sale Operations and Strategy at a high growth, technology company
  • Deep understanding of core sales processes in a B2B technology environment with the proven ability to drive operational processes crossfunctionally
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership with the ability to influence at the executive level and share critical business insights
  • Strong prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills to be able to prioritize
  • Experience using Salesforce, Tableau, or HighSpot preferred
  • Must be customercentric and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage crossfunctional relationships
  • Comfortable working from limited information, asking new questions, and seeking new answers to old questions. Continuously seeks to improve and standardize processes, and systems, has and demonstrates a strong bias towards building simple processes that scale.
